I am excited to introduce Tiffany, our newest contributor here at Cloth Diaper Blog!
A strong advocate for Attachment Parenting, Tiffany writes, “it is my desire to share my experiences with other parents and guardians in the hopes of making parenting at least a little bit easier!”
We look forward to her posts and know you will too!
My name is Tiffany and I am the mother of an almost two-year old daughter and have used natural parenting principles to raise her. Cloth diapers have been an essential part of my parenting experience. For environmental as well as financial concerns, my husband and I chose to use cloth. It has helped us to save money as the diapers have paid for themselves. It has also been my experience that cloth diapers offer more coverage compared to disposables and we very rarely experience any leakages. If we have any more children, we definitely plan to do it all over again using cloth.
I am also passionate about Attachment Parenting and have read books from various authors regarding discipline using Attachment Parenting principles. During pregnancy I followed the Brewer Diet and delivered my daughter using the Bradley Method. I am also very passionate about breastfeeding and co-sleeping.
My guiding principle for parenting is my belief that my child’s needs are just as important as mine and that her needs should not be diminished just because of her smaller size.
In addition to full-time parenting, I work as a physical therapist in an outpatient clinic near my home, write for Examiner.com as the Virginia Beach Natural Parenting Examiner, and sell ancient-forest friendly books for children as a Barefoot Books Ambassador.
WELCOME!
