Cloth Diaper Tips

Have diapers - will travel.

Cloth Diapering How To: Travelling with cloth diapers. Can you use cloth diapers when travelling? Sure you can! It’s no problem travelling with cloth diapers, whether for a day out or a vacation. Just be prepared.

For a day out, pack one cloth diaper for every 2-3 hours you expect to be away—more for younger babies and fewer for older babies. Then pack one more, just in case. Take a waterproof bag, like a Bummis tote, to carry wet and soiled diapers. A big zip-lock bag can isolate smelly diapers. Be sure to pack cloth baby wipes and spray-on wipe solution in your bag. Include sample sizes of diaper cream or lotion, like Baby’s Bottom Lotion Bar.

You can even use cloth diapers on a vacation. Just plan carefully where and when you will wash diapers and how you will store them between washing. Make sure you have enough diapers and wipes, and you’ll find it a breeze to keep baby dry and happy while you travel.
