Cloth diapers have evolved! I've always tried to be somewhat environmentally conscious, and throwing thousands of disposables into landfills didn't feel right, but I had only ever known one child who was cloth diapered, and he was never truly dry and always kind of smelly, so that was the only idea of cloth diapering I had. Recently I've talked to mothers on forums on Myspace and realized how much they've evolved. My baby is almost 2, but we've switched and we won't be going back. It's so much easier and cleaner than I expected it to be. I even have a few friends who've started to consider cloth, having seen how easy it is. I love how soft it is on my baby's tush, how gentle it is on her sensitive skin, how much money we'll be saving in the long run, and how good it is for the environment!
