Cloth diapered from moment one but had trouble finding those tiny diapers, even though my babies were relatively big. Glad to here that there are some dipes specific to newborn.

I started cloth diapering my daughter somewhere in her first week. I actually received my first gift of cloth diapers in my hospital room when my baby was a day old. They were OS bumGenius and they fit her fine (She was 9lbs 5 oz) but didn’t allow room for her umbilical chord. I tried to fold them down once before it fell off and the strip of velcro cut into it so when it fell off when she was a week old, I started using all three of my BGs :-D

I started cloth diapering my daughter around 2 months, which is when my small pocket diapers started fitting her. I’m pregnant with baby number 2 right now, and I plan on cloth diapering as soon as I get home from the hospital. (It’s a little too much hassle in the hospital since I’ll be having a c-section.) I’ve been wanting to get some Lil’ Joeys, so I really hope I win this!

I am 8 months pregnant with my first, I am planning on starting cloth diapering after her belly stump falls off.
I have big babies, so I will do both from the hospital home until he is big enough to fit more of the diapers that I have, I think. I just don’t see the point in buying the really small ones that will be outgrown in a few weeks. This is the first I plan to cloth diaper. Hubby refused to change diapers with the first if I did cloth.
We didn’t start cloth in the hospital, but within a week after we brought him home we did. He was having serious reactions to the chemicals in the sposies. We are starting right this time around with the very first diaper.

We started CDing my first baby in the hospital, from diaper #2 (the nurse just put a sposie on him at first, so after that diaper came cloth). My second baby was born at home, so cloth went on her bum right away. We’re planning another home birth this summer and will CD right away as well!

We waited until my daughters cord fell off so I guess a week or so and then slowly more and more until even on vacation we use cloth. We plan on starting from day one with my son (he is due in September) because I now know how easy diapers can be.
I didn’t start cloth diapering my until my last one was about a year old. I’m expecting a little girl in Aug. so this time around I’ll be cloth diapering from the hospital.

I started cloth diapering around 4 weeks, but found that my One-Size diapers I had purchased were still too big. My baby started fitting more nicely at about 6/7 weeks, once he went over 10 lbs. I would be interested in the future in getting some small CD for the next baby…

This would be fun to win! I am due in just a few weeks!
With our oldest we started CDing when he was a few months old since the diapers I had purchased were way to big. With the second we started CDing right away but the covers were rubbing on his umbilical cord and keeping it wet so we waited till it fell off to re-start.
With number 3 unless I can get the covers to stay away from his cord so it doesnt re-hydrate we will start as soon as his cord falls off. I would really like to start right away but that cord needs to stay dry and I havnt found a good solution yet.

We did not cloth diaper until my son was 9 weeks old (which was last week). When I was pregnant, I wanted to use cloth, but it intimidated my husband, so we decided to go with disposables. Recently a big brand-name disposable changed its diaper, and my son had a negative reaction. My husband & I tried a few different disposables, but ultimately we were not happy with any of them. I talked my husband into a cloth trial, and now we are addicted–I have placed 3 orders at Diaper Junction in a week! My husband is definitely on-board now that he sees the long-term cost-savings and health benefits. He was even excited to do his first cloth diaper change!
We started cloth diapering as soon as we got home from the hospital for my first child. As my shower gift my MIL got me a diaper service for a few months. So when we got home from the hospital there was a big pile of clean diapers waiting for us on the steps. This time for my baby due in Oct we will be CDing in the hospital because they said that they would provide the prefolds if I provide the covers.

I did not start cloth diapering from the hospital. I felt like all the diapers I had were way too bulky. We started full time around 4-5 months. I am currently pregnant with the next one and plan on starting right as we get home. I’ve built a stash of newborn diapers for this one. I would love to win these for my stash!!!

I started clothing when my son was about 4 months old. For my next one, I will probably start as soon as I feel physically up to it! hopefully in the first month or two.

We started as soon as our little guy got big enough to fit in the stash we had. He came a month early so he was small, we needed premie diapers but did not have any. He was about 8lbs when he started wearing cloth full time.

I did not CD until my baby’s cord fell off. It was recommended to me to use disposables until my baby passed all of the meconium, and the cord fell off. This worked well, but for the next baby I intend to start CDs right away. I have been looking at the Lil Joeys and will likely choose them because of the fold-down for the cord.

We started cd at about 3 weeks old. Now that we have a sizeable stash of many sizes and types, we will most likely try to cd from day one with our future children.
I ordered something from Diaper Junction yesterday, May 4th.

Looking for #clothdiapers?? Check out @Diaper_Junction!!
I only just started this week – my son is almost 11 months old. Late start, I know, but I’m hoping to start right away with the next one – it’s one of the reasons I switched, two in disposibles would be too much money wasted!
