I can see the one-size pockets being the most practical choice. With pockets you’re kind of limited to one use and then a wash as opposed to perhaps a wipe out and second use that you can get with some cover/insert combos. The one-size option makes them appealing because they’ll last you for a longer time with your baby even if you’re laundering them after every soil. Personally, I think pockets are a good choice for going on outings if you’re not using other options. They can be all wrapped up and secured (kind of like the way people wrap up disposables) before being put in a wet bag, so the mess seems like it would be less of a hassle to deal with until you can get home. I do like prefolds with covers for at home use, though.

I have ONE of the one size diapers…but to be fair, it was from China. I got ONE to try it out before making my decision. Needless to say it was too confusing so I stuck to a Medium and my son still fits in them. As for the onesize pocket diaper I just pulled it out today and it doesn’t look like it would fit him. The only time I managed to use it was for a water diaper. I would be curious to give a different NON CHINA brand a try.

I LOVE pockets! I use the Smarti Pants system. I found them to be a great economical choice and they work very well – never had a leak, they are comfortable for my daughter and come in a cute assortment of pastel colors! :)
I reviewed the Thirsties Duo Wrap at Diaper Junction!
I love all kinds of pocket diapers. I use both the all in one and fitted that I make. I prefer the fitted with a cover. I haven’t tried the one size pocket yet.
Hands down, I prefer OS Pocket Diapers! My initial order when we first started CDing was for 15 OS BGs! I made the right choice for us! They’ve worked for 2 of my ‘older’ babies (at the time 14 months & 2.5 years), and then I put the same diapers on my newborn when he was 5 months old!!! I love that it’s adjustable is size!!! They are more $$ up front, but worth it if you use them for different ages/sizes!! :)
I am waiting for baby boy to be born. I do have a pocket one size in my hand and can’t wait to try it on him!! In my mind I will love it. But we will see!
I put a FYSF button on my blog…left sidebar.

I have about 5 kinds and thay all seem to work well. the wahmies are slim and fit under fitted clothing nicely, the rumparooz are good with there bilt in gussets to keep poop in better, the FuzziBunz have a cool elastic ajusment. you just have to know what you will be doing that day and pick the best fit.

I love pockets. We use bumGenius diapers almost exclusively with our son, and I can’t imagine using fitteds or prefolds all the time. We occasionally use fitteds for night time, but I really prefer the quick and easy one-sizes.
I really like the pocket OS diapers. My favorites are Bum Genius and Happy Heiny’s, although HH have a lot more velcro and tend to stick to the diaper inserts when I wash them. Since cloth diapers are so expensive, I would only use the OS.

We use pockets for outings and nightime. Because they are so easy to use I also pack a few in the diaper bag in case grandpa ends up changing any diapers. He is always so proud when he does!
I have never used a pocket diaper, but I would love to try it!
I do like pocket diapers, it took me a while to get used to them after having AIOs and prefolds, but having one sized ones, especially have been nice, and my husband doesn’t mind stuffing so it gives me a break every couple of washes for him to stuff, with his big hands, it takes him half the amount of time!

I haven’t used many types of one-size or pocket diapers. If I was going to go with more pocket diapers, I would want one-size or two-size (like the Thirsties Duo Diaper etc.), to get more out of the investment. Pockets are kind pricey.

I have more Bum Genius OS 3.0 than any other diaper in my stash. I love the one-size pocket for so many reasons but I am really liking the new AI2′s that have come out recently- Soft Bums, Gro Baby, FLIP. I do love the BG OS pockets!! They have such great quality diapers, although I wish they had more colors to choose from as well as cute prints for boys and girls. Pockets dry so much quicker and I love to use them with the thinner hemp inserts for a less bulky dipe. It sure saves me on drying time, saving time and energy!

I am just converting to cloth. So far, I like the BumGenius the best. The BG seem closer to disposables and the top layer felt drier when I changed my baby. I am also trying the FuzziBunz but the snaps seem more difficult to use. I especially don’t think I will ever use snaps at night. I have not had any leading problems with either brand.

I really like pockets and one size pockets are great too, bigger savings in the long run. My favs right now are Haute Pockets, only ones I have in one size. I still usually only use pockets when out of the house and use prefolds and covers when home for cost reasons

I just had my baby girl 9 weeks ago and she’s just getting big enough to start with the cloth diapers I bought before she was born. I bought a big, random assortment, including several pocket diapers. I think that there are pluses and minuses to pocket vs. AIO vs. prefolds. The pocket and AIO are both super absorbent and easy to use. The main difference I see is that the AIOs have one less step (you don’t have to stuff them) but since they tend to be pretty thick and the layers of material don’t separate, they take longer to wash and dry.

I like pocket diapers period. I like that I can have them all stuffed and ready to go and they’re “hubby friendly” and he doesn’t just grab a disposable one!

We use a cover/insert style for daytimes, but the FuzziBunz OS pocket diapers for nighttimes. So far so good!
I definitely prefer pocket diapers over anything else and I love Fuzzi Bunz but I am not completely sold on their one-size. I prefer the BG one size for fit and ease.
Thanks for the giveaway!

During the 2 week trail that I did I LOVED the OS pocket diapers! They were my favorite with fb perfect size pocket diapers coming in a close second.
I just started cloth diapering – and LOVE the Smartipants OS diapers. No pulling out a yucky wet insert! My sister uses Happy Heineys and loves them, too.

I use a big variety of pockets, prefolds, and AIOs. I like them all for different reasons. Pockets are great to use when we are out and about. I think my favorite ones are BG 3.0. We have one HH pocket that I really like as well.

I have and like my 1 fuzzibunz, my 1 bg but I didn’t like them until my son was about 14-15 pounds. It seems like until he “filled out” a bit he wet up his back constantly. Would love to try a HH

I’m expecting, so have no experience with cloth diapers yet. But from what I’ve read pocket diapers may be a great addition to your stash for overnights and when extra protection is needed. Can’t wait to try!
I just ordered the flip diapers, which will be my first cloth diapers! I am excited to try them. I have a 22mth old and am also 4 months pregnant, so I am looking to switch full time. A little nervous, but I am sure it will save our family money in the end!

I love OS pocket dipes! My stash is half Bum Genius 3.0 and half OS HH.
I like fuzzibunz one-size because they have the elastic like the adjustable waist pants. I love that you can easily replace the elastic – lengthens the life of the diaper!

I love onesize Rumparooz pockets. They are not as bulky as other pockets, they have leg gussets that contain messes, and no velcro to deal with.

We use pocket diapers for night time and they have been working great for us. I like the OS because it allows the diaper to grow with the child. I will only by the OS pocket diaper.

I like one-size diapers but like sized diapers more. For one-size we have BG, FB and HH and like them all. The fit on a one size diaper seems to be a bit bulkier than a sized diaper. I like variety in my stash though so I’d love some more HH!

I have an OLD OS HH Pocket hand-me-down….. I don’t really know how old it is…. by the time got it it did not fit my 33lb toddler well. I can’t wait to try it on my new babe ……coming in 6 wks. I’d love to try a new one!
I have never used pocket diapers, I’m a prefold and flats kind of momma. However, I would love to give the pockets a try!
I have not tried them yet.
I have both pocket diapers and prefolds. I think the pocket diapers are good for daycare and travel and prefolds are good for home.
I love pocket diapers! I think it’s so great when they grow with your baby. Less materials = more green. :)

Well, I’d have to say the pocket I made from DiaperKit.com. But I’ve got some BG 3.0s in the mail right now! :D
I love pockets, that’s all I use for overnight. I have OS for my older daughter, but have some sized ones for my little one. Since she doesn’t fit in the little ones, I have’t tried them, so I don’t have a preference yet.

I like the one size. So convenient! I’m not sure about the pocket diapers, though. I think I prefer the AI2s.
I get the newsletter.
I have a whole stash of BG 3.0 and love them. I chose them over HH because of the flap over the insert slit in the back, and they were $1 cheaper per diaper. I also didn’t like the huge Velcro rectangle on the one side of the HH one-size, but that’s just looks. I love my BGs, but I’d take a couple free HH to try!
