  1. I have only used one-size/all-in-one diapers, really, so I don’t know what I prefer. I am in the process of ordering a Thirsties cover because I’ve heard a lot of good things about them.

Right now, my stash is pretty small. I’d like to expand, but don’t have the $$$!!!

  4. I got the free gro with purchase and I am loving it. Told my husband that if I had won the $300 feed your stash I was buying all of those I could. We have a 15 month old that we switched to clothe diapers about 2-3 weeks ago and I am due with my 5th in May.

  8. Haven’t used any yet (#1′s not due til April) but I’m planning on using prefolds with covers. They’re not that hard to use and the price is right. Plus there are lots of cute ones. :-)

  62. Hmmm, for fitteds the cover I prefer is a OS, aplix close, single-ply pul cover, w/FOE legs (plus elastic sewn into the legs to make sure the FOE doesn’t give out) & waist because it is softest on the baby chub legs, waist, back, & tummy plus it “gives” just enough to provide for a very good, leak-proof fit.

    Comment # 62 | Posted by Erica W | January 15, 2010, 11:48 am
  63. We don’t use fitteds often because I find them very bulky. But when we do, I prefer wool or fleece soakers.

  69. I’ve only tried Thirsties Fab Fitted and a Thirsties Wrap Cover on my son. I didn’t like the way the fitted poked out of the wrap (not a big deal to tuck back in, but what can I say, it’s just one more thing to do!) For that reason, I think I would prefer a pull-on type…possibly a wool soaker. I plan on using Kissaluvs fitteds and hopefully wool soakers on our next newborn – whenever that may be!

  103. I use a Thirsties Duo wrap size 2. And I also have two Flip covers. The Thirsties has ample room for a larger more “fluffy” fitted. The Flip diaper cover works really well with bumgenius fitteds. I would suppose the Flip would also work well with a Thirsties fitted since they look similar. I usually only use my fitteds and covers as a night time diaper. I normally don’t have leaks.

I actually just got my first pair of shorties in the mail yesterday, can’t wait to try them out. But other than that I have a bumkins cover, a thirsties cover, and an econobum. i do like the one size cover thing. It is nice that I don’t have to get more in different sizes. I am thinking ahead to the next little one…

  358. For a fitted diaper, I like the Fuzzi Bunz perfect size. It’s all I’ve used besides prefolds, but I do have a hemp fitted diaper on the way for night time use. Fitteds are hard because everyone’s baby is shaped differently, and sometimes things don’t fit properly.

  380. When we use fitteds (or prefolds) on young babies, I like covers that have gussets. Thirsties used to be my favorite but I’ve recently discovered I like Litewraps more (they are tighter around the waist and more gentle around the legs). On older babies and toddlers I prefer covers without elastic in the legs. My favorite is Stacinator So Simple covers.

  418. I use wool soaker and longies over fitters, but I use prefolds much more often and really want to try the Kissaluvs cover over them!

  428. I haven’t had the chance to use fitted diapers yet, my baby is due in Feb, but I think that my chose in cover would be Thirsties. They seem to have a good reputation and I haven’t heard anything bad about them.

  436. I have only used AIO diapers. But I think I’m ready to branch out. Keep the AIOs for daycare and use some different types at home. I’d love hear opinions about the fitted diapers.

  437. I don’t always use a cover, but so far I like the gen-y covers best.
