I think solids are more gender neutral, so I can use this set of CD with the next baby.
The prints are adorable but only certain brands make them (happy heinys, romparooz) and they tend to be the more expensive ones.
Since we don’t know the gender of our baby, I generally look for solid colors that could be worn by both a girl or boy.

I love to have some really fun prints, but I find that I use the solid colors more often, because I like th match the diapers to the outfits!

I reviewed the Fuzzi Bunz one size cloth diaper:
I have 2 dozen Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers size medium and I absolutely love them. The only problem I have is staining, but my child seems to have Super Poo. I have been using the size mediums since my son was 6 months old and he is now 23 months old. I also was able to use them on my older child when he was 2 1/2 for night training. Favorite so far!!
Prints are cute when you can get them, but I think I prefer solids for everyday use. With a little girl who wears a lot of dresses, it is easier to match solids to her outfits, and MUCH easier to match solids to babylegs!

I have two of these diapers. I have two problems with them. 1. My child can undo the velcro and take them off, which can lead to a big mess. and 2. They take a lot longer to dry than the Fuzzi Bunz one size. Great diaper over all, just take into consideration if your child will be taking them off!

I love these inserts. They work very well with a heavy wetter. I use these along with the inserts that came with the Fuzzi Bunz diaper so I have a double layer. Not too bulky, but then again, a little bulky looks adorable on a little baby in cloth! Great produt and would buy more if I needed over any other brand.

I accidently put my wet bag through the wash with my clothing and didn’t know until I put clothed into the dryer. That’s when the moment of panic struck. I had a tube of kids sunscreen, a spray bottle of kids sunscreen, and two face sticks of kids sunscreen it in. The tube exploded and covered the inside of my wet bag. I soaked it in a bucket with Rockin’ Green over night and this morning the sunscreen was at the bottom of the pail and all I had to do was use a little water to rinse it.

I don’t know why, but I’m not a huge fan of printed diapers. Maybe because they don’t go with as many clothes that way. Children’s clothing in solids is rare so being able to wear a printed diaper is difficult. So yeah, I’m solids all the way! The only printed diapers I have are ones that I won. :-D

I like prints, but my fave dipes come in solids only. I have a couple printed diapers from another brand, but since the other diapers outperform the brand w/prints, I choose the better dipes over the prints. That said, I would like some more prints, but it is not necessary… I Would actually prefer more colors than prints :0).

I really prefer solid colors for both my baby and myself. They are more versatile and more usable for a baby of the opposite gender. I can make Red look girly paired with a black polka-dot dress, but Firetrucks will always make people refer to my baby girl as “he!”

I LOVE prints but only have one print diap. The solids are just cheaper or prints don’t come in my fav diapers…yet!
I don’t look for prints or solids. I look for bundle packages (which are cheaper and usually you don’t get to pick the colors). HOWEVER, one thing that would be nice is if the bundle packages came in either all darks or all lights. If I wash diapers (covers only) with the regular laundry, I don’t want to do two separate loads – one for lights and one for darks.

I usually like prints better, but I buy them about 50-50 because solids are usually cheaper.
I like both, but gravitate more towards the solids for my son and have been getting the prints for my due-any-day daughter.
I’m practical, so I tend to go for solids that could be used for future children of the opposite gender.
I look for prints, but buy more solids due to price and lack of gender neutral prints that I like.

I love their blueberry color – so I don’t mind the lack of prints.
I prefer prints, they’re a lot cuter! Solids go with more clothes, though.
So far I mostly have solids for my baby due in August. I’m sure I’ll get more prints as I build up my stash and get to try things out.
We only have solids – mostly because prints seem harder to come by. Prints are definitely cute, but solids seem easier to use for either gender.

I look for solid colors more often than prints. It makes it easier to match the diaper to whatever cute little outfit I put her in when taking her out and about!
I look for solids. I have a girl and a boy on the way so I generally find solids to be more GN.
I usually look for solids (white most often, actually!) because they go with more things than prints. Also, prints show through clothes. :-/

I have about half and half. One of the other posters said she uses solids because clothes are often in patterned fabric, and I understand the logic. Half of my diaper covers and all of my AIOs and pocket diapers are plain colors. They can be fun to match with a given outfit that. However, I know that I’m often most excited about diapering when there are fun patterns, like the Bummis Froggy pattern, the Swaddlebees/Blueberry cow print, or some of the Imse Vimse prints (we have one with farm animals). It’s nice to have options!

I look more for solids than prints. Solids go with more clothing options… that being said, if I stumble upon a cute pattern, I’d have trouble not buying it.

I prefer solids as they are more universal, and usually the diaper is covered by clothing anyway, but prints are cute on occasion. If I had a girl I might prefer prints to go with sundresses, but since I have a boy solids are my preference.

I used to just go for solids, but since it’s summer out I like to get diapers with prints because I usually just let my son run around in his diaper or with a diaper and a tshirt, and printed cloth looks so cute!
I look for prints more often, since I have every solid color of the rainbow (most in multiple shades). Always looking for monkeys :)
