I don’t have any grobaby yet. Although I don’t think I would use the bio soaker. I don’t have a way to compost and if I flushed that it would back up my extremely sensitive plumbing…lol. And I don’t have the heart to throw it away when I am doing cloth to reduce that waste.

I have used GB’s disposable pads a little bit and we will use them all day today and possibly some tomorrow as we move, and again when we move to our own house in a few weeks! My regular diapers are in the wash right now finishing rinsing so they can get packed. I’m kind of sad and miss my fluff! They are definitely not an ‘everyday’ thing for me though!

I am really loving FLIPs! I am curious about Gro Baby as the soaker snaps in right? Will other inserts work with Gro Baby? Oh would so like to try one!
I only use them when I leave the house, but I think I like them better than the cloth insert because they’re wider.

Oh…and to answer the actual question about disposable soaker pads. I do have a package of FLIP disposables. I have had it 2 months and maybe have reached for them 3 times. No I do not use the disposable pads when out and about. I can’t live without disposable liners though! I love my individual/small wetbags to but the yucky diapers in when we are out and about.
I’ve not tried them yet. I just bought some seconds and they are on the way though! I plan to only use them if we need to use non-cd friendly diaper cream or if my lo ends up with another nasty stomach bug!

I have a couple Gro Baby diapers which I am testing out. I like the idea of being able to just wash the soaker and reuse the shell (if it isn’t pooped on)…less laundry and less to carry around in the diaper bag. I haven’t tried the disposable soakers but would love to. I think it is a great idea for vacation or even just if you are really busy and know you wont be getting to the laundry.

haven’t tried the disposable inserts. I actually have never needed disposables on the road since we started using cloth, but if I did I have to say I would just use regular sposies, since they’re much cheaper. But I do like to know that companies like Gro baby offer the option if I ever need it!

We just started considering cloth diapers a week ago and bought a GroBaby shell and soaker. I think the shell fits very well. I’m having trouble getting the soaker to not wrinkle as i put it on my wiggly toddler. So far, we’ve only used it at home. I like the shell with prefolds too.
I have never tried any of the gro-baby diapers. I did purchase some flip disposable inserts when they went on sale to see how they worked. We use them at night-time to try to help absorb more with our 2 super soaker sons.
I haven’t tried them yet. I am new to cloth and I am trying to find the best system for my 10 mo old daughter.

I haven’t tried them yet… I really want to give them a shot for an upcoming 2 week vacation w/o access to a washer/dryer. I was going to use the FLIPs but the disposable inserts just aren’t there yet.. so my answer WOULD BE that we’re using them for away from home.
I reviewed BG Organic OS AIO.

I haven’t used the gro baby disposables but would really like too! I think I would just use them for when I’m away from the house.

I’m totally bewildered as to how (what systems, what brands, what matters!) to start cloth diapering…maybe these hybrids will help? Our first baby is still in utero.
