For me, Organic cotton is SUPER important. At first, I didn’t think it would be. I thought that as long as the diaper worked, then it was doing it’s job. But after a few trys with synthetic diapers, I noticed my little one getting tiny red bumps on her behind. I think she’s allergic. So now I only buy organic cotton or natural fiber dipes, and I use a hemp insert as a liner for the synthetic ones I already have.
I’m a fan of your new facebook group!
Organic cotton isn’t a huge deal for me when I’m comparing diapers. I like to know natural versus synthetic material because each has it’s own advantages, but function trumps whether it is organic or not for me.

To be honest, I haven’t tried them out, yet. My little man has never had a diaper rash problem, and right now we are still in the beginnings of building our diaper stash, but I’m curious to see how soft they really are, since everyone raves about them!

I did look for organic options when researching cloth diapers. We’re going to be using organic prefolds with our newborn.

I prefer to have natural fibers, but I am not concerned about a diaper being organic. I do have some diapers that use synthetics and do like them, although they are not my favorite. But I love my cotton prefolds, and don’t think it matters that I didn’t opt for organic cotton.
I don’t really care if a diaper is organic or not. I just want it to do it’s job!
I haven’t really tried organic cotton diapers. I think we have one but there weren’t a lot available when we were shopping for diapers. So they’re not that important but I’ll probably opt for organic in the future.

Organic would be great if there was a stay dry layer. My daughter ends up with a rash when we use the organic cotton ones we have too much. I spread them out if our rotation and don’t use one right after the other so she doesn’t get a rash.
I think that it is nice to know that the cotton has less harsh chemicals the better.
Honestly it doesn’t matter to me. it is not a big deal about being organic, but then I don’t have a very sensitive little one either.

I actually don’t like organic cotton. I prefer the softness of the microfleece liner in most AIO pocket diapers.
I can’t say that I have payed too much attention to organics as they are more pricey. I have tried organic foods and I have noticed the difference in appearance as well as taste. I do however pay close attention to products I use with my children and think that organic products would be preferred; I am not comfortable with putting things on my children that could have been chemically treated. So in the interest of the question I have not used cloth diapers so can’t say that I have a preference other than concern for possibly chemically treated products.

To be honest, I haven’t really paid attention to “certified organic” while shopping. I’ve only been doing the cloth diapers since my son was born in December. Just wrapping my head around which approach to take (i.e. AIO, Fitted, Prefolds) and how many I needed while still living a simplified life was a task in itself. In the end, we are using Chinese prefolds most of the time with some Kissaluvs for travel and have enjoyed our decision immensely! Diaper Junction has been a great resource!

It isn’t a big deal to me, although I tend to really like the diapers that I own that have it.

Organic is not a huge deal for me. It’s nice, but so long as it’s soft and works, it’s all good

While organic cotton is nice, it’s not super important to our family. We do cloth to save money, and organic unfortunately costs a lot more.

Certified organic cotton isn’t a big deal when I am choosing diapers. It’s a big plus, but not the deciding factor.

I prefer natural fabrics although it doesn’t have to be organic.

Certified organic cotton is not the deciding factor in choosing a diaper although it doesn’t hurt. I prefer bamboo over cotton.

Certified organic cotton is important to me when I am looking into cloth diapers. I have only recently started cloth diapering, and don’t have any organic cloth diapers yet, partially because cost is also an important factor and they are usually more expensive. I wish that I could go all organic though!

As mom to a special needs baby who will never outgrow her need for diapers, cloth diapering is very important to me – both to save money, and to limit her exposure to chemicals in disposable diapers. Plus, diapering her this way makes me feel I’m putting extra into taking care of her, so I feel good about it.

It wasn’t important when I was fisrt shopping, but now I would put more thought into organic vs nonorganic.

Organic isn’t really important to me, certified or otherwise. While I respect organic farming, I’m not convinced it makes much of a difference.
It is important to me to have organic cotton because of how harmful regular cotton’s manufacturing process supposedly is. However, I am just happy to have cotton, too.

I feel that organic cotton is most important for my baby and his skin. I want the best for my baby, and organic is the way to make sure of that!
I like to get organic stuff but usually dont just cause it costs so much more. I do like it though.
While I prefer organic products, it’s not a must-have if the product itself is well made.
