Yes, my son goes to day care 3 days per week and his day care provider does use his cloth diapers.
I have only had family members watch my son twice and they used disposable on him. I was worried they would be overwelmed by the snaps, however, while over my parents house for dinner the other night, my father volunteered to change the cloth diaper and did it perfect ly(he never volunteered to change my older son who wore disposables). I figure if my father can do it then anyone else who watches my son can do it as well! I just need to have a little faith!
My daughter doesn’t go to day care but my mom will watch her once in awhile. We just started full on cd’ing this week but I know she will be on board next time she cares for her.
right now it is just me and dh taking care of the children. before DS was born I worked at a daycare center where DD also went, however we didn’t start her in cloth until she was potty training…so she was only using a pocket trainer at night.
We do have a hand full of pockets and fitteds for whoever might watch him in the near future. Next week he will be with a sitter while we are at a wedding reception so that will be the first opportunity to see what others are comfortable with.
my mom has been helping me watch my daughter and she is 100% on board with the cloth diapers.
My son goes to day care and they love his CDs. Church has no issues either. The larger day care center he went to in July refused to use the cloth, but they’re the only ones who had issues.
my mom will be watching my daughter and she is on board with the cloth diapering. yay!
Yes, my church nursery uses cloth diapers, as do grandparents and all other caretakers we might have for our kids. We provide a user friendly cloth diaper, typically a pre-stuffed BGOS, and a wetbag. No problems yet!
My mom keeps my dd while I work part time….she has never complained about the cloth diapers, but everytime my dd will come back in a sposie. So now I just send disposables :(
No caregivers in the picture yet!
yes my wonderful mother watches my two girls (2yo and 1yo) every wednesday morning so i can have a few hours to myself(groceries and such). she uses our cds on them and will even fold or stuff the pile of clean cds. i know im so lucky!!
No caregivers for our little one yet. But my mom has no problems changing the cloth diapers when she’s at our house.
No, unfortunately my little guy won’t go with anyone but the bunny and I…yet!
I send my baby out in sposies - I usually don’t pay for babysitting, so I make it as easy as possible for whomever does it! However, my mom does give it a good college try when she stays with us, which I appreciate a LOT!
My mother-in-law watches the kids for us once in a while and she uses whatever I send over. I used to send disposables b/c I felt bad making her do cloth all over again but now I just send cloth. She has never said anything! :0)
We are just starting to use cloth diapers (PS I LOVE THEM), but my babysitter is totally on board with them.

Our parents occassionally watch our kids and are totally fine with our cloth diapers.
the only caregivers have been grandmas! and yes, they not only approve, but LOVE using the new and improved cloth diapers (after the plastic pants and pins of their day).
The church nursery will sometimes change my children’s cloth diapers. It is sometimes hit or miss depending on who is working in the nursery. They pretty much always change it with my 2 month old but not always with my 20 month old.
yes, absolutely! grandma & grandpa have no problems with cloth.
the few times we’ve left our son with a family member or friend, yes, they used our cloth diapers :)
No caregivers in the picture, but they will :)
We have a wide variety of occasional babysitters, who are left with a velcro pocket and have no trouble.
I stay home with my daughter but when my mom watches her we use cloth. She thinks it’s amazing how much cloth has changed since she used it with me and my siblings!
I generally don’t have any caregivers watching my baby but this week my mom is in town visiting. I ran an errand and my mom had to change the baby while I was gone. I was surprised that she used a cloth diaper even though we still have some disposables on hand (we are switching over).
Not only that, but she taught me how to do a new fold so that I can use the bigger prefolds!

My little peanut goes to daycare 5 days a week. Thankfully his daycare is happy to use his cloth diapers.

We are actually waiting for our first order of cloth diapers to arrive. I am going to encourage my husband to use them as we transition form disposables. But he is hesitant… eventually we will just stop buying disposables so he will have to figure it out sometime. :)
I am so lucky that my day care provider encouraged me to use cloth and came over to show me how pin a prefold at 10 one night. She also happens to be my mom! Anyone that watches my son knows that cloth is the only diapering option.

my son is only 5 weeks old, so we don’t have any additional caregivers - except my mom who does use our cloth diapers when she visits our house.

My son’s grandmas will use the cloth diapers, though I have a hard time convincing my mom to use prefolds so I always make sure to leave AIOs for her. My friends will use whatever I ask them to :)
reviewed snappis at dj
When our parents come into town, they do use cloth. For church, we just tell the nursery workers that we’ll change them after we leave or to come get us if there’s a poopy. Some get daring and try — and then we hear, “It’s SO easy!!!” YES!!! IT IS! :-D
My daughter goes to the nursery at church and they have no problem changing her cloth diapers. In fact I often hear how much they love the “new” cloth diapers!
My mother and my best friend occasionally watch my daughter, and neither of them have any issues with CDs!
We have no disposables in the house, so caregivers have no choice. :)
That being said, DS has some medical issues that mean we have nursing care 18 hours a day. All the nurses use the cloth diapers we have available - most of the day shift is older moms & grandmothers who have no issues with prefolds; some of the midnight shift nurses have been younger women without cloth experience. Fitteds and contours have been their staple diapers, along with an occasional pocket here and there.
I do have a sitter that watches little man in her home while I work and yes she uses the cloth diapers. I think she would prefer the disposibles, but does what I want. She use to cloth diaper her babies, but likes the convience of disposables. But she thinks these are much cuter than when she had kids. (she’s a great grandma)

My mother and mother-in-law watch my son. They aren’t really into the cloth diapers. We tried from the start but they slowly requested a different kind. Can’t complain too much about free sitters though!
It’s just me most of the time, but when my mom is babysitting at my house, she uses the cloth.
Yes, my mom watches my DD occasionally and isn’t afraid of CD at all as she used them on us! I use Gro Baby exclusively and LOVE them! Hoping to win more… :)
Just posted link on my facebook page…let me know if you need a link or anything. Not sure how to post it here?!
Just wrote a review for Gro Baby on your website for a 3rd entry in this giveaway…
My son has only ever been watched by family and a few close friends. He doens’t go to daycare or anything of that sort…so technically, the answer would be no. But as far as family and friends go…the answer would be YES! Thanks for the chance!
My mom and mother-in-law are willing to use our cloth, but they avoid diaper changes a bit. :)
No one watches my children but me and my husband. No, my husband will NOT diaper with cloth. I love Gro Baby, however, and use them exclusively with our daughter.
My parents are willing to use cloth diapers with my daughter, but haven’t kept her alone yet since I started CDing. In the church nursery, I send disposables because I haven’t asked yet.
The little guy doesn’t like to be away from mommy much. He has spent a time or two away, and I just bring sposies. We use a sposie at night, so I figure what’s one more every couple of months. When I am around though, I do like to show off the cloth and talk up how easy it is.
We have family who watch our kids once in a while and I always have them use cloth. We have a few AIOs for them to make it as easy as possible. My mom thinks cloth is easier than disposables!!

My kids are not currently in daycare, but the have been in the past. The daycare center did not use the cloth diapers, but we did not ask. We were so overwhelmed by sending them to daycare that it didn’t cross our minds when we were visiting, however they are adamantly against PullUps type training pants (as were we) and dealt with the training underwear covers with no problem, so I can’t imagine they would be TOO against cloth diapers.
My mom was thrilled to try all the new cloth diapers that have come into existence since she cloth diapered me! She has also requested that I send one or two prefolds to her when my youngest outgrows them…apparently they are awesome cleaning cloths too!
We have friends who keep our kids every now and then and yes, the use the cloth diapers. They don’t seem to mine. Usually they can’t believe how nice they are.
My husband stays at home with our daughter four days a week. On the day she goes to the sitter we still use cloth. Our sitter is very supportive. We also use cloth in our nursery at church.
I’ve only left my little one once during an emergency (she’s 5 months old and ecologically breastfed so we’re tethered :) )… but once we do start leaving her, my parents will watch her and she’ll wear her Gro Baby w/ biosoakers.
I stay home with our son, but my husband, our family, etc. are supportive and will change cloth diapers.
We just started using cloth diapers. My mother in law has been hesitant but she actually did change one of his cloth diapers the other day. I am hoping that she will be more open to it in the future!
Wrote a review for HAPPY HEINYS ONE SIZE DIAPER on Diaper Junction!
We leave our son in the nursery at church on Sundays. Most of the nuersery workers will use the BumGenius diapers I send. Occasionally we’ll pick up our son and discover he’s in a disposable.
Our family is on board with using cloth when they watch our daughter. The only other time she’s in someone else’s care is in the church nursery. I don’t think they really like it, but they use them. I have to give new lessons every 6 months when the teachers rotate. We use BG’s so there really is no excuse to not use them since they are so easy.
Nobody else changes our baby’s diaper. I’ve left him with my sis-in-law a couple times for only an hour or so, and although she would have changed him if it had been necessary, she’s kinda grossed out by cloth diapers.
Our children (ages 2 and 2 months) both go to a licensed in-home daycare and luckily she is wonderful about using cloth diapers - several of the children there use them. Our parents, who care for them when we go out, will use them as well - they actually prefer them since my husband and I were cloth diapered as children as well.
My youngest is only 7 weeks, so I haven’t left her in the church nursery. When I’ve left her it’s only been for an hour or so and we still have disposables leftover from baby gifts. I know my mom is fine changing cds as she used them with me, but I’m not sure about other caregivers.
We have yet to give our roommate a full CDing lesson, but she has used some of the many different kinds we have successfully! My parents will use them as well.
No daycare or babysitters yet.
My mom occasionally watches my daughter for me, and she has no problem changing the Fuzzi Bunz diapers. She’s actually proud of me for using cloth.
My mom has watched my baby only twice. The first time she used a Gro Baby, as I showed her, but she randomly put a snappi on the outside… hehe! The second time she was successful with using pockets and Gro Babys
I probably would have a few sposies on hand for anyone watching the baby. My Inlaws are usually the ones babysitting. I guess it depends on who would be watching the baby.
Mostly we’re the only ones watching the little ones, but when we do have a sitter, they use the cloth because it is all we have!
um nope. I am the caregiver when my wife is out
We’ve had just family watch our kids. I usually keep the ones that aren’t potty trained with me.
face booked
I haven’t asked yet if my DD’s daycare will use my CDs (DD doesn’t arrive until early December), but I plan to show them several types of CDs so they can see how far CDs have come in the last few years. I think they will say YES!!
grandparents and aunts are the deal, and they love my aio’s….
We will be leaving our little one at a licensed daycare facility. We have toured 3 facilities and have 3 more to go before deciding on one. So far, the 3 we visited said they will accept the cloth diapers as long as we bring our own bin for dirty diapers. They did not even ask to see the diapers first.
I blogged at http://daydreamingofclothdiapers.blogspot.com/2009/11/feed-your-stash-friday.html
My mom watches my daughter, and she also spends about 60-90 minutes in the church nursery on Sundays. No one has had any issues with cloth diapers. My mom was always for them, and she has willingly learned about the new styles. The nursery staff was also great; one said she thought it was awesome, one is a friend of mine who wishes she could cloth diaper, but because her husband adamantly refuses, and he’s the main caregiver, she can’t, and the third is actually thinking of cding her new baby because of me!
I rarely leave my kids. When I do, I usually send them with disposable.
My mom uses the cloth when she watches my two, but my MOPS group prefers disposable.
We chose our daycare specifically because they allowed us to use cloth.
When I did have a babysitter she didnt mind using my pocket diapers as long as I had them stuffed and ready for her.
No, we just haven’t had any luck on finding someone both reliable and dependable. When we have asked a few people to babysit, we’ve found they’ve been intimidated by the cloth diapers.
Grandparents are the primary babysitters and are very happy to use cloth diapers! Grandma can’t believe how different they are from when she used to use them.
Yes. My parents watch my children from time to time and they gladly use the cloth diapers. After all, that is what mom used on me when I was a baby!
I watch my grandson during the week while his parents work. I use cloth. My daughter still uses disposables, I’m trying to convert her. So we are working backwords..
We never have to leave our baby so luckily we don’t have to worry about it.
oh just the question I was waiting for!!! My MIL watches the kiddies for about 5 or 6 hours a day (M-F) and refuses to use the cloth diapers… (even though that is ALL she used with her kids) I can’t understand why she won’t I do when I am there and you would think she would see how much easier it is now but NOooooo… all I get is NEGATIVITY towards it… and comments like… oh, your momma has those crazy contraption diapers on you again, poor baby… and they think that because she cried when “I” change her that it is because of the cloth diapers… please she cries because I let her run naked in the house to air out between diapers!!! anyway, as an answer NO I am the ONLY one in the family who uses the cloth… everyone else out right refuses to change her diaper if it is cloth they send her to me!!! nice hey… anyway, I’m fine with that because heck it’s saving me money! LOL

I have 3 different family member watch my son during the week. They use our pockets. I think they might think we are a little crazy, but they use them. My son has never had a diaper rash and this impresses my mother in law.
My mom has changed DD a few times. She didn’t quite know what to do with the prefold but after I showed her she was all good! I think it’s just a confidence thing.

Actually, no. My husband and I are the only ones that have watched our daughter so far. She’s got a bit of separation anxiety. I’m sure that won’t last forever though.
facebooked!
My mom is the only one other than my partner and I who has watched our baby so far, and she’s reluctantly on board with using cloth diapers.
We don’t usually have others watch her… but when we do it is grandparents and I brief them on how to use them and say good luck- it can’t be that hard right? My mom and DH’s mom have done great with it so far! (I usually try to leave something easy like already stuffed pockets or AIO’s)
Wrote a review for BG Deluxe at Diaper Juction!
We have had a great response from family and nursery workers who have no problem with using the cloth diapers we have.
Both kids go to the ILs for daycare. Grandpa was good at using the BG 3.0s but decided to stop :(

Yes, daycare provider, church nursery, grandma and babysitters all use the cloth diapers
I stay home with our daughter but my husband and mother in love have both changed diapers. Neither one has any problems with it. I’ve even convinced some pregnant and trying to conceive women to use cloth because they are so simple!!!
My mom keeps my daughter on Tuesday mornings so I can go to discipleship group at church…even though she cloth diapered me and my twin sister, she refuses to deal with them on her grandchildren! oh well! We keep disposables at her house, but I am tyring to get her to like the idea of the grobaby bio soakers!
church nursery and grandparents…and never leave them with cloth diapers
I have a daycare, but none of the kids I watch use cloth. We do and love it. When my kids are with grandparents they are mostly in disposables though.
I forgot to put on review… I reviewed the Snappi (just about the most AMAZING invention ever)
I dont ever have anyone watch my children… If I ever needed to the only thing in the diaper bag would be cloth diapers so they would have to use them unless they have of disposable ones somewhere!

When someone else watches my kids they usually get to use disposables.
My family has no problem using our cloth diapers. In fact my mom used them on all 5 of us while we were babies. My in laws on the otherhand cannot even comprehend them whatsoever.
I did a review on the 54qt cloth diaper pail!
We don’t currently have other caregivers for our child in diapers, but my mom and mother-in-law both used cloth so I am sure it won’t be a problem.
Our DD has only been watched a couple of times and the grandmas have used the cloth diapers every time. We just make sure that we send the easy ones (BG 3.0s) with them =)
I do, I use hook and loop closure pockets that I pre-stuff. My caregivers say they are just as easy as disposables, so it works out great.
My DS goes to daycare 5 days a week and I insist they use cloth on him. I had to buy pockets and AIO, but I use prefolds at home. I am teaching our babysitter about cloth, but we don’t use her a lot, so we usually go with disposables. My mission is to get her and her sister to use cloth when their babies come!
When it comes to babysitters, I offer a disposable if they need to be changed before bedtime.
No, I don’t use any caregivers yet, but if I did I would definitely expect them to use my cloth diapers.
I shared on fb.
I pretty much keep my babies with me all the time. When I do leave them with close relatives I show them how to change with the cloth diapers if they don’t already know.
My husband is the only other person who has changed our baby’s diaper so far. At first he wasn’t too excited about cloth diapers, but now he likes them. I still do most of the diaper changes, but he’s been great about the laundry! Pocket diapers are so easy that I would expect any other caregiver to use them. Luckily I work from home so we won’t really be faced with this issue too often.
We don’t have a caregiver that regularly watches our children. My mother watches them on occasion, though, and when she does she uses our cloth diapers.
Unfortunately, my caregivers don’t use my FB when they keep my son.
i do have babysitters use cloth.
Well baby is still on his way (due in Feb.), but I don’t outside of Grandma I don’t think there’s going to be too many other caregivers. I won’t be supplying anything other than cloth, I guess if she wants to keep disposable at her house, she could, but I don’t think it’s going to be much of a problem.
My son goes to daycare and they cloth diaper him there. He is the only one in his class of 12 babies that is in cloth. There was a learning curve but so far it has been great.
No caregivers other then myself, so I’m the only one using cloth diapers.
I currently do not have any children in cloth diapers [one is in kindergarten, the other is due next month] but the only caregivers will be me and my husband. We don’t live near family and I’m a SAHM.
http://www.facebook.com/#/profile.php?ref=profile&id=841140566
I have several friends that watch my child and they do not do cloth. Only one or two who have cloth diapered their own children will even consider it.
Both of the grandparents and anyone else I leave my daughter with all use my cloth diapers for her! I just initially have to show them how to use them! But that’s easy! They’re just as simple as a sposie!

my son has stayed with a babysitter a handful of times and i have always left them disposables. this coming thanksgiving will be the test because i am going to use cloth the week we are at my parents. in the past we just used disposables. i think my parents will do fine we use pocket diapers and they are just as easy as disposables.
My daughter rarely has caregivers other than me and my husband. On the rare chance she does, I school them in the art of cloth diapering–not that it’s hard, but it can be daunting if you don’t realize how easy the new ones are. I also have a variety of different kinds of diapers so care givers can always just choose the easy ones with velcro–bumGEnius especially–if brands like Fuzzi Bunz or Knickernappies scare them.
I blogged about it here:

Granmda helps us out by watching my son. She is always happy to use cloth, as she can not get over how different it is from what she had to use. She tells everyone she sees about my son’s cute diapers.
no,we use disposables when someone else is watching her, which isn’t very often.
We used to have a personal care provider and she used them, but now we have her in daycare and they won’t use them.
No, I’m a stay at home mom but if I did I would certainly continue to use cloth diapers since disposable diapers burn my daughters bottom.
My mom and mother-in-law are the only other ones who watch the kids, and they use the cloth diapers. I’m the only one who will wash the poop out, but I can’t blame them for that!
My mother and my mother in law both watch my daughter and use cloth. Though my mother prefers pockets where as my mother in law likes prefolds with a cover, but I am just glad they both agree to cloth.
The only place I leave my kids is the nursery at church. Unfortunately they won’t use our cloth diapers, so we bring sposies.

I am pregnant with my first and I am 100% cloth diaper user. M freind raises her eyebrows about it cause she says it makes the baby’s butt so much bigger. I have used cloth on my friends’ babies and have found them very easy to use. My husband is 100% on board with me! Yay!
My wife is pregnant with our first son. We are going to try cloth diapers. They are a great $$$$ savers and they are soooo much better for our babies and environment. I am looking forward to trying them out on him.
If you agree to watch my kids, then you use cloth, you don’t get a choice. I am not paying good money to buy chemical laden diapers for my kids just because it is “easier” for someone else. My kids come first!!

my MIL has used the cloth diapers for my son, but other than that, I always use disposable for nursery or baby-sitters.
I do have relatives that care for my daughters, but I’m not sure if they would be up to the task of using cloth diapers. Not right away, anyways, but once they see how easy it is for me, they might get adventurous! iambready at gmail dot com
My daughter is in a nursery at church and during MOPS. I don’t use cloth then, just disposables.
I usually use disposables when leaving my son in our church nursery or other childcare places.

my parents will use cloth diapers but my in-laws won’t!
have no choice but to CD my dd is allergic to sposies but i am a single mom and it is hard to provide for all her needs this would really help
We don’t use any daycare. It’s either me or my husband that watches the kids.
Only my wife and I watch our son.
yes, my parents love using cloth diapers! but usually put them in disposables for church :(
I plan on having my parents watch my first baby and since they’re coming over to my house, I do plan on having them use cloth diapers too.
While at church we send our daughter in a sposie since we are just starting out with cloth. Eventually we will transition over to full time!
I just Stated cloth diapering but I’m sure that anyone who is watching my daughter will.
My mom and mother in law are both very supportive and impressed that I am using cloth diapers, they used them and love how much they have improved over the years.
We have only hadgrandparents and the occasional aunt as sitters, but they are stuck with what we have - cloth. The aunts have been great, the grandparents (I should just say grandmothers) try, usually with a leaky result despite my detailed notes, but no real damage occurs so we’ll stick with it.
Right now my daughter is 2 1/2 weeks old, so she hasn’t had any caregivers yet.
I’m not sure if her grandparents will be willing to use the cloth diapers, but I think her aunt and cousins will be fine with cloth.
My mother will use them only if she has no disposables.
Reviewed the FuzziBunz One Size Diaper.
My mother in law has watched my dd a few times and she uses the cloth diapers. My baby comes to work with me and sometimes when I am busy my co-workers will change her diaper. They love the cloth diapers…it means there are no stinky diapers in the bathroom garbage.
Yes, but sadly no she does not use any cloth diapers. I’d like to introduce her to some though, with the thought that seeing is believing.
no one watches my kids yet but when I do need some one I m going to look for one that will do cloth :)
I leave her so rarely that I use disposables when I do, I don’t want to overwhelm anyone babysitting…..although I am hoping to convert anyone who becomes a regular sitter :
My mom watches my son for a few hours at night until his bedtime while I work. She uses the cloth diapers. I used to buy disposables for babysitters, but they finally agreed to use the cloth.

My mom is great when it comes to CD her washer is large capacity so she does all the pre-washing for me when I get new pre-folds and we are both excited to try out the new Grobaby OS, woohoo!
Being a SAHM I am with our son almost all the time. Of course the grandparents and my sister watch him every once and while. I always pack his CDs or they come to our house where the only options are CDs.
I am a SAHM so my daughter is with me most of the time. When she is watched by someone else like the church nursery cloth is the only thing in the diaper bag so they would have to use them unless they have extras in the nursery.
My parents, in-laws, and babysitters all use our BG 3.0s. Once I show them how easy they are to fasten with the velcro, they have no problem!
My sister is our main sitter and she is great about cloth diapers, in fact, she thinks they are so great she’s going to cd her little one. My hubby has changed a cd one time in almost a year. There have been a couple of times at church where someone changed a cd but I always take the AIO or pockets just because they are so easy.
I am due in Feb with my son (didn’t cloth diaper the other two). I’m really hoping sitters will try to use my cloth diapers I’ve gotten for this little one but I think I might have a little difficulty convincing them. Everyone I talk to about our decision to cloth diaper seems a bit surprised.
We’ve really never left our baby with anyone other than our teen daughter who is a pro at cloth diapering.
We did leave him once in the church nursery and discovered they didn’t know to look for the wet bag and put his soiled CD in a plastic grocery bag. Oppps…didn’t even think to let them know what a wet bag was.
last year my caregivers used by cloth diapers. I was not expecting it to happen so easily but they both had used cloth on their own kids so it was great.
my family was a little wary at first but they began to get used to it. we had used g-diapers when visiting but eventually could use cloth for short visits where we would be returning home that day (we had no way to store and wash when visiting for longer periods)
Hubby, babysitter, and Nana will all use cloth diapers. Grandma, however, isn’t so keen on them. We may put our son in daycare two days a week and one of the places I’m looking at said cloth diapers weren’t a problem, yeah!
Have not had to leave my son with anyone yet, but plan on taking both to see what they might prefer. My husband did take him to work one day and did great, even with a stinky! I have a great man!
My husband will use the cloth diapers. My mom (who owns a home daycare) said she would use them but didn’t seem too excited (but she hasn’t tried cloth diapers in about 30 years). My daughter will have her 1st overnight stay with pretty soon, so we’ll see how that goes.
My mom will use them when she watches my kids, but she always wants to ball them up like a sposie when she takes them off, and that just smushes the poop all around- ick! :)
no… but will be looking soon!
I don’t have anyone watch my son, but I do run a home daycare. I would love to have some cloth diapered kids, to bad there aren’t many here even in my natural parenting group.
posted it on the CD circle group too :)
My daughters both go to the church nursery. The staff caring for my toddler is okay with cloth diapers and use my wet bags no problem, but the infant staff will not change her if I bring her in cloth.
I have never asked my babysitters to use the cloth diapers. I use prefolds with waterproof covers and I know they can be alittle tricky for someone that is not used to them. So I have disposables for them to use instead.
I have tried to get my daughter’s grandparents to use cloth diapers. I feel it is just no use. BUT any one else who has watched my daughter has used cloth. Some of them have said that when they have children of their own they will use cloth. Yea.
I used thumbnail #1 on my facebook.
So far, I am the primary care-giver. I think my mom would give it a go. I think my dad would rather watch the Green Bay Packers (he is a Minnesota Vikings fan), but I think he might be able to handle an all-in-one. :)

I specifically chose a daycare that agreed to cloth diaper since most of the public daycares in my area will not use cloth. With a little training and some gentle reminders from time to time, they did pretty well with prefolds and covers and the occasional AIO with my first. Now that I’m expecting my second, I plan to do the same.
I am a SAHM and currently use cloth diapers on my 9 month old daughter. We are going to move in with my in-laws and when they found out we used cloth diapers they started to give us the run around about how the washing machine is very loud. Ironically they have a brand new washing machine that is not loud at all!!!! I find it very inconvenient that we have to use disposable diapers ever time we go and visit. My daughter breaks out in them. I love our cloth diapers and wish people would have an open mind about them. My mother in law has also taken me to the laundry mat and watched me wash them because she was so against me washing them at her house!!
When we have baby sitters, most of the time they do use cloth unless they are all dirty ;-)! But our 20 month-old son is mostly potty-trained and so they aren’t “messy”.

These look really great! We haven’t tried CDing yet, but if someone else were watching my little lady I would probably leave them with disposables.
No one watches my son but my husband and I :)
Yes, my mom does.
I have only had my mother watch my baby and she used disposables.
No baby yet, (due march) but I would love to use cloth!
I have an on-call sitter for births. (I’m a doula.) She is GREAT about using our BumGenius 3.0’s!

I use both fitteds and pockets, and when I leave my daughter in the care of others(which is rare and usually my mother), she is great about using the pockets!
My daughter doesn’t go to daycare but occassionally my sister or mom will watch her if I have somewhere to be. My sister is also a cloth diaper lover and has no problems using my diapers and we exchange stories and reviews of each others diapers all the time. Mom used cloth diapers for both of us so she is also quite used to the prefolds and pants but finds the new-fangled all-in-ones just amazing!
At this point, I don’t have to have daycare for my daughter. However, at 18 months old, she’s getting to be a handful for me to take care of at work, and I’ll be having another little girl next month. Hopefully, I can find daycare close to home, and that they will use cloth diapers. I will not be providing sposies, so if that’s what they want to use, they’ll be buying them themselves. I think AIO’s or pockets will probably work best for daycare, with prefolds & fitteds staying at home. At least, that’s my humble opinion!
when I first talked to our daycare about changing to cloth she seemed a little cautious but now that we’ve changed she had no problem at all!!!

Expecting in April and expecting most family will happily use cloth diapers when watching our child. ANd on the other hand not expecting friends will want to do so.

Unfortunately our daycare provider does not use cloth diapers. They mentioned that they would use ours but that they would not rinse them out just take them off and put them in a bag. Family who watch our son have said they would use and rinse out cloth diapers.
My husband and I take turns, we work opposite schedules and he watches our son during the day and I get him at night. We have just started using cloth diapers and have been inspired by a dear friend. :) We both are using the cloth diapers, but I would definitely consider us part time right now, and we have figured that if someone watches him, we will be the ones to clean out the diapers at night instead of making those who watch him. We bought the bumgenious so it can be easy for everyone.

I have 2 caregivers but neither use my cloth diapers. I would love for them to use it but until I master it myself, I don’t want to push it on others. I started my cloth stash with prefolds and am hoping to expand further.
Nope, no one else watches my daughter. So no on else changes her but hubby and I and we both use cloth full time
My mom occasionally watches the baby, but I’ve only been cloth diapering for a few weeks. She’ll be visitng for Thanksgiving. I’m confident she can and will do fine, though, because she cloth diapered me in the rag-and-pin-and-plastic pants days! :)

No caregivers, but I have read recently that Fb may start showing up in daycares~ woo hoo!
Nope. My husband and I are the only ones watching our little guy on a daily basis.
No sitters yet, but we plan to ask anyone that does watch him in the future if they mind the CD. Of course, if they are uncomfortable I don’t mind if they want to use a disp.
I usually send my son to other people’s houses in a disposable, mostly because his dirty diapers can be very messy and I want to make it as easy as possible.
Reviewed the Fuzzi Bunz Pocket Diaper.
I started out only doing the cloth myself and keeping ’sposies on hand for dh & sitters. Now the older children can prep a diaper and I don’t have to worry about a sitter or relative searching for the right fit (especially with more than one in diapers).
No we don’t have our son in daycare, and the only people who look after him are myself and my husband. My husband is on board with cloth diapering though :)

The church nursery changed my son’s cloth diaper once, and told me they were a little surprised at first, but they handled it well. They put the dirty diaper in a plastic bag instead of his wet bag, but no biggie! I tend to use a sposie now so no surprises for them. My mom and mother-in-law have both changed his cloth diapers a few times without problems. I just bought a small package of sposies for him while I’m having his baby brother since we’re not sure who will be watching him if Baby shows up early!

Our baby is too young to be left with other caretakers just yet, but since I was diapered in cloth, I don’t expect my parents will have any problems with cloth diapers when they watch our baby.
My son is in daycare all day and his daycare provider uses cloth diapers for him. He’s the first she’s done that for. When he poops we just have her put a wipe over the poop, roll the diaper and stuff it in the wetbag. It works just fine!
