Our first is 3+ and will be self weaning when he’s ready. I feel he is very close, he hasn’t asked in about 3 weeks (since his new little brother was born). Our second will self wean when he’s ready as well.
My 1st self weaned at 12 mo. With my second baby I had to quit at 10 months. I am currently nursing my 3rd child and hope to make it to at least 18 months.
12 months. My oldest self-weaned. My second is 9 months, and will probably do the same.
1 year and still going strong!!
I *intended* to BF til atleast a year/year & half.
My first self-weaned at 9.5 months b/c I was pregnant and had no milk left.
My second weaned at the *exact* same time (Mother’s Day Weekend, no less…thank you, kiddo) for no obvious reason – I just know I went from having a ton of milk to nothing in one weekend – not pregnant, not sure what happened. But it emotionally killed me.
Plan on BFing the “next” one (whenever that may be) for as long as possible again.
I plann on BFing for at least 1 year. I’m at 6 months right now.
i am pregnant with my first and due november 5th. i plan to breastfeed for the first year.
cant wait! :)
I nursed my first three for about 2 1/2 years. My fourth is four months old I will let her self wean also.
I am currently BF my 9 month old. I thought I would go a year, but now I feel like it will be more like 18 months. We’ll see, everything I thought I would do has gone out the window!
I breastfed my first daughter 14 months. I hope to nurse my second at least that long. thanks!
Hoping to make it a year!
My goal was at least a year. My daughter is now 14 months and still going strong. I am leaving it up to her when to stop.
I breastfed my first two children for a year each and I plan to nurse my third (now 7 months) for a year.
Breastfed DS until 2 years old (self-weaned) and will keep breastfeeding DD (8 weeks) until she self-weans, too.
My baby is only 26 days old. He is a breastfeeding champion and eating machine! We plan to keep this going strong until he is ready to stop.
We are on week 11 and I hope to get to a year.
DD self weaned at 15 months DS is still going strong at 11 months…don’t see him weaning anytime soon!!!
My litle girl self weaned at 15 months, and I am now nursing my son, who is 13 months. I’m starting to cut back on the frequency of nursings, since he’s not eating well at the table, but I’ll keep nursing him for at least a few more months at least.
I breastfed my 19-month old until she was 13 months–I was 6 weeks pregnant at that point and too sick to continue. I am glad we made it over a year, but might consider going longer with this little baby coming soon!
My goal is a year and then we’ll evaluate how he’s doing.
I breastfed my son until he was 16 months old. I would have nursed him much longer but he had gradually weaned himself. We are pregnant with our second child and I hope to nurse as long as my child is wanting to.
For a year with my first…at least that long with the next one due later this month!
I cut nursing down to 2x’s per day at about 13 months and a few months later down to once a day. My son at 19 months still enjoys nursing briefly in the mornings but I think that I’ll be phasing that out soon.
My oldest nursed for 18 months and my current nursling is almost 9 months old. I plan to nurse him until he weans himself.
I would like to breastfeed for 18 months, at lest 1 year though.
My first was weaned at 17 months. My second is 5 months old and exlusively breastfed.
I nursed my first son for 23 months and I will nurse my almost 6 week old as long as he wants as well.
Well, my son is 14 months and we are still breastfeeding. Right now I don’t have an end time in mind, just playing it by ear…
I intend to bf for a full year and then just feel it out. So far Sean is 5 months and doing great!
I intend to breastfeed my baby (#1 due in 25 days!) until about 18 months.
My son (first child) weened at 15 mths when I got pregnant for my second. My daughter (second child)is almost 8 mths and I plan on nursing her at least that long.
I am still breatfeeding my 5 month old! Fun!
i nursed my daughter 20 months, and baby #2 is on his way in 2 weeks:)
I nursed one for 12 months and another for 14.
I breast fed my daughter for 6 months when my milk dried up due to another pregnancy. I plan on breast feeding my daughter number 2 for at least a year. and if my first daughter wants to nurse again i may let her. she will be 13 months older than her sister.
I am currently nursing my 2 month old baby. I’m planning on breastfeeding at least 6 months.
the first was 14 months and my second only for about 9 months,He would not sit still after he learned to walk.
Posted on facebook.
12 1/2 months with both my babies. My second I had to ween at 12 months because she wouldn’t eat any food – she only wanted to nurse and wasn’t gaining enough weight and had fallen off the chart – not even in the 1% for weight! I am a strong believer in BF and NO formula!
my little one is 8 months old and I am still breastfeeding – plan to until she is at least 1.

i added a review for snappis on diaper junction
I intend to nurse until they self-wean.
My daughter was so difficult to keep awake that we resorted to a bottle at 3 weeks because she had lost so much weight. I am still pumping like mad and she is 4 months old. I hope to continue providing her breast milk till a year, it just isn’t the way I hoped.
I intend to nurse until he decides, or 2 whichever comes first, im open also to see what life has in store!
Just posted the giveaway on my blog! Cant wait for the fun!

I intend to nurse my child (currently 5 months who is off the charts – above 95% in both height and weight) until he weans himself or 1.5yrs, whichever comes first, or if he starts biting me frequently.

Things were very hectic with my first child and I only lasted 6 weeks. This next child I plan to go 9-12 months.
I’m planning on BF for at least a year. I hope to go longer, but we’ll have to see what he wants to do.

Submitted review of Thirsties Duo Wrap.
I plan to breastfeed until my baby is at least nine months.
I breastfed my son for 11 months. I wanted to BF longer but he wasn’t interested anymore.
My son bf for 15 months – mutual decision for both of us. I hope to do the same for the next one.
9 mos with first child…she was done after that…we’ll see how long the second will go…
So far, 8 months. I had intended to breastfeed for 18 months to 2 years, but my daughter was born at 27 weeks by c-section, which has made making milk more challenging. Hopefully we will get as close to our goal as possible.
I nursed my son until he was 3. I plan to nurse my daughter until sometime between 2 and 3. I’ll mostly let her self wean.
I might be the only one so far to say this…but I breastfed for about 6 weeks. It was very discouraging to me and sometimes I still feel like I failed. Breastfeeding: F-. When my son was born he was in the NICU, and although I lived at the hospital so that I could feed him (and pumped and pumped and pumped before I could) I had serious supply issues (not enough…and then too much) and ended up getting mastitis. I worked with a lactation consultant who was wonderful and very encouraging, but in the end we switched to bottles when it just wouldn’t.go.away. I plan on trying again with my next baby because I think it’s important- but honestly- I never really enjoyed it. It was so hard that we were both so sick. I hope that maybe next time I will know what to expect and be better equipped, no matter what happens. Sometimes things happen that we can’t control, and YES, breast is best. But I’m grateful for alternatives as well.
I plan to bf for 12 months if possible. I work FT so will have to pump. I hear it can be done if you are dedicated and persistent.
I stopped at 13 months because my son bit me.
I breastfed my first until 3 weeks before her second birthday. We quit because I was pregnant with our second and it was incredibly painful for me.
I plan to breastfeed my second until around 2 or until she is ready to be done whichever comes first.
I will be returning to work so I hope to be able to breastfeed for at least a year.
We always self wean, and it has been different with each child. My longest nursing session was well over 2 years and my shortest was right at a year.
I am ill BF’ing my 9 month old, and plan to self wean.
I am currently breastfeeding and my daughter is 7 months old. I would like to have her wean herself.
I breastfed my first son for 8 months. I plan to breastfeed the baby I am expecting in 8 weeks at least the same amount of time. My goal with the first was a year, but he wasn’t having it. Hopefully the second will make it the full year.
I breastfed my first son for a month and my second for 4 months, I wish it was longer.
6 months w #1. 6 months #2. #3 is two weeks and hope to go a year+
i nursed my first daughter for 13 months and plan to nurse my second for at least two years!

reviewed Thirsties Covers at Diaperjunction!
I breastfed my son for 1 year.
I nursed my first daughter for 18 months, took a month break, had my son and nursed him for 18 months as well. I am currently nursing our third child and she is currently 14 months. I plan on 18 months (it’s only fair, right?) but will probably go longer if she wants to.
you’ve been facebooked!
A year for #1…trying to do a year with #2. But she’s our last baby so we’ll see, it may be longer.
Intentions were at least a year. Didn’t work out that way ;(
The plan for my monkey (8 months) is to nurse full time for a year, than transition to a morning, evening and when everything is just terrible. Twoish or more is when I plan to wean, just in time to hopefully start all over again.
I was able to breastfeed our first son for 15 months, when I found out I was preggo. with our second son and my body stopped producing. I was able to breastfeed our second second son for 9 months, when I found out I was preggo. with our daughter. Once she is born, I plan to breastfeed her as well.
My daughter is 9 months now. And I plan on breastfeeding until she weans :)

I breastfed my daughter until she was just under a year… she self-weaned at that point. I plan on doing the same with the baby due any day now – breastfeed as long as possible!
My child is 16 months today and we are still breastfeeding. I planned to breastfeed for 12-18 months.
I plan to breast fed my five week old for at least a year or until she weans herself
I wrote about your giveaway on my blog.
