It has been nearly 3 months since the BP oil spill off the Gulf Coast, and while BP and the federal government have voiced that progress is being made, crude oil continues to pour forth.
Communities are gathering to assist with everything from ideas on how to plug the well, to how to clean up the tarnished beaches and the affected wildlife.
In steps Cloth For the Coast, a FuzziBunz sponsored drive to accept old cloth diapers (prefold diapers) and any type of diaper inserts – as well as blankets, receiving blankets, burp cloths and other cloth items that could be used to clean up damaged wildlife.
FuzziBunz has volunteers at hand receiving, sorting and sending the donations and getting them where they need to be; FedEx is even pitching in!
