Meet the Diaper Junction Staff: Catie

Diaper Junction, long recognized as a leading advocate for cloth diapers, has helped families make GREENER choices for their babies & toddlers for many years. However, the business couldn’t reach its goals to get more babies in cloth diapers without the people “behind the scenes”.

Diaper Junction’s Customer Service Manager

Catie, Diaper Junction‘s full-time Customer Service Manager since March 2009, is one of those people. She is the voice customers hear when they call the business with questions their order or cloth diapering in general. Catie listens and helps customers decide on brands and sizes, and once their order is placed, she follows up with whatever steps are needed until each customer she comes in contact with is completely satisfied with their order. “Hopefully they love their products and I have helped make a loyal customer!” says Catie.

A Regular “Girl Friday”

In a single day Catie handles everything from checking emails, answering the phone and responding to phone messages, to processing orders, packing and shipping. She also processes customer returns and redeems Stash Cash orders.

Catie’s conviction to cloth diaper started before she came to Diaper Junction. “I used prefold diapers when my oldest was born” she said. “She was 4 weeks early and the hospital used cloth diapers on her due to her sensitive skin; they let me take the cloth diapers home with me.”

Mother to Cloey (8 year old), and RJ (3 year old), Catie has grown her stash to include FuzziBunz One Size Diapers, but has her fingers crossed that a potty training break will occur any moment with her youngest. After work Catie likes to go home and play with her “crazy kids” – games like “Flashlight Hide and Go Seek and Indoor Soccer are the two favorites lately”.

I LOVE my job!

When asked if she enjoys her work Catie replied, “I LOVE my job. It’s fun and flexible and just a little different every day. Playing a big part in such a successful business is pretty cool and I love the people I get to help. Kids are fun and gross and hilarious. There is no better time to have a sense of humor about parenting than while diapering!”
