A TRUE One-Size Fitted Diaper
The BabyKicks Organic Fitted Diaper is specifically designed to fit babies from 7 to 40 lbs; that is from birth until baby’s potty training years! Talk about a stretch!
The BabyKicks company wanted to make cloth diapering with a one-size diaper as easy as possible, so they set in a color coded snap-sizing system to ensure quick adjustments to the various sizes for parents and caregivers who are unfamiliar with cloth diapering.
The snaps are set in a descending “V” pattern, getting closer together as the diaper is snapped down to a newborn size. This is important because the width needed in the crotch of a newborn diaper is considerably less than that of a Toddler diaper. Reducing bullk in this way also helps to better contain messes. Don’t Forget the Front Pocket
The BabyKicks One Size Organic Fitted Diaper has a pocket inside, it isn’t the same as other styles of pocket diapers. The inner pocket stuffs in front, not the back or side. The purpose of this design is to give easier access to the insert when removing or stuffing, but also to eliminate the problem of the insert shifting when the diaper is on baby.
A pocket diaper allows parents to customize absorbency for the different wetting needs at different times of the day and for different babies. My first child was not a heavy wetter, but my second child was…with pocket diapers I was able to adjust accordingly and use the same diapers for both children.
