On May 23, 2010 the Real Diaper Association announced the Cloth-Diaper-Friendly Daycare Directory was live and ready to be used by cloth diapering families looking for daycare providers!
The Cloth-Diaper-Friendly Daycare Directory is a joint project between the Real Diaper Industry Association and the Real Diaper Association and is “intended to help parents find caregivers in their area who accept or use cloth diapers for babies in their care.”
Not all daycare providers see the use of cloth diapers as a means to practice what we preach; teaching this new generation of children about social responsibility, reduced consumption, conservation, and respecting the earth we’ve been provided. That said, both RDA and the RDIA are working on activities to facilitate the use of cloth diapers in daycare.
Check out the new Cloth-Diaper-Friendly Daycare Directory and help RDA gather more providers to include in the directory. With your help the directory can become a rich resource for the cloth diapering community!
