It is great that in the modern age of cloth diapering we parents have so many options. You can cloth diaper your baby in prefolds, fitteds, all-in-ones, or pocket diapers. Closures can be Aplix or snaps. Materials can be organic or synthetic. There are endless combinations, and you can have all of them if you'd like! When my daughter outgrew the Kissaluvs Fitted Diapers she used as a newborn (and believe me, they are great newborn diapers!), we decided to go with pocket diapers. There were … [Read more...]

Why not just use disposables and throw the nastiness away? Not have to deal with scraping poo (can I say EWW…) and washing diapers. All you had to do was wrap the nasty poo up inside of the diaper and toss it … [Read more...]

A Cloth Diapering Dictionary

If you are new to cloth diapering and happen upon one of the many websites that sell cloth diapers, then all the titles, monikers, and nicknames can be quite confusing - I should know! I came into cloth diapering pretty much on my own; there were no brick and mortar diaper stores near me so I had no one to talk to about, and no opportunities to see, these wonderful cloth diapers in person. A friend gave me three pocket diapers to start my stash and so pockets were all I "knew". Since it … [Read more...]
