Two months ago my daughter turned two years old. With her 2nd birthday came more pressure from several people to begin potty training; this included my husband, mother and the pediatrician. I don't know about you, but potty training wasn't my favorite rite of passage when my babies decided they were too old to wear a cloth diaper. Of course, since then I've been introduced to the Potty Training in One Day system and the Potty Patty and Potty Scotty Potty Training Dolls. Potty training is such a bittersweet time. On one hand, you are "oh so close" to eliminating diaper changes (yea!). On the other hand, it is one more step your little one is taking away from you. Right now, we are attempting to potty train our almost two year old. So far, she is doing really well. She tells us when she has to go, and she gets so excited when she makes it to the potty on time.
